Check out our new herd sire! The photos of him above were recently taken at 10 months of age. We loved him at 3 months, we loved him even more at 5 months, and at 7.5 months we saw a pattern forming of him just getting better and better with age! To date at 10 months old he is a proud bearing young buck with a standout presence in the buck pen. One of his most defining features is his smooth, wide, masculine chest.
Our new young herdsire hails from Rowdy Mountain Boer Goats of Rowdy, KY and is sired by *enobled* RRD V808. His pedigree reads like the who's who of the Boer goat industry boasting names such as Ruger, Brass Shot, Top Brass, Magnum, Gauge, and Renoir!His dam is a deluxe producer that traces back to the original imported CODI PCI genetics and she continues to produce phenomenal offspring.
We really admire the muscle in his forearms, the length of his twist and the way his neck and shoulders tie together with the rest of his body. As he grows this buck is getting better, thicker and wider!! It it obvious that RRD V808 has left his stamp on this buck.
We can't wait to start using him and we are confident he is going to put some dynamite kids on the ground!
